Saka Indonesia-Pangkah Limited - SIPL is rapidly growing oil and gas company in Indonesia and is owned by PT Saka Energi Indonesia, an upstream subsidiary company of state-owned gas distribution company PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk.  Saka Indonesia-Pangkah Limited engaged in exploration and production of oil and gas at Ujung Pangkah Block East Java. In 4 January 2014, Saka Indonesia Pangkah BV (a subsidiary company of PT Saka Energi Indonesia) acquired 100% ownership in Hess Pangkah LLC and Hess Indonesia (Pangkah) Limited from HESS NWE Holding and HESS Oil and Gas Holding Inc. Hess Indonesia (Pangkah) Limited holds 65% particiating interest of Ujung Pangkah Block. While Hess Pangkah LLC has 10% participating interest. Since 16 January 2014, Hess Indonesia (Pangkah) Limited officially transformed into Saka Indonesia-Pangkah Limited and Hess Pangkah LLC renamed into Saka Pangkah LLC.

Due to facing fast business growth, Saka Indonesia-Pangkah Limited is looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative and integrity to fill in the following positions:

Geomodeller-Reservoir Geophysicist

Requirements

• Bachelor Degree (S1) or Master Degree (S2) majoring in Geophysics.
• At least 8 years relevant working experience with oil and gas industry.
• Experience of seismic work (seismic interpretation, inversion and attribute analysis) in full cycle of field development and development drilling.
• Experience in seismic processing in an assets.
• Familiar with Petrel software and understand the pitfalls.
• Experience in fracture modelling.
• Having solid knowledge stratigraphy, sedimentology, petroleum geology, geophysical mapping and interpretation, introductory geophysics and subsurface mapping techniques.
• Have a good communication and leadership skills
• A team player and able to work continually within tight timeline
• English literacy, spoken and written.
• Work Location: Jakarta.
